Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management
Fayette County began its IRVM program in 1989 and continues to manage vegetation on 2,270 miles of roads.

The goals of this program are to:
Minimize noxious weeds and brush and establish and maintain native vegetation in roadsides.
Maintain a safe and effective road system that is diverse in habitat.

Educate the citizens and visitors to Fayette County in the importance of IRVM through programs and press releases.
